AS Leigh-Anne Pinnock and her Little Mixers prepare for the biggest weekend of their lives, the district has sent these messages of support ahead of the X Factor final.

Leigh-Anne’s mum Debbie said: “Leigh-Anne, I am so proud of you it’s impossible to put into words. I did what I told you to do, you believed in yourself and achieved the dream. This weekend, you and Little Mix will shine like the stars you are. Love you all so much xx.”

High Wycombe Mayor Chaudhary Ditta, whose daughter used to attend the same school as Leigh-Anne, said: “Congratulations to Leigh-Anne and Little Mix for reaching the final of the X Factor at Wembley. Everyone in Wycombe will be supporting Little Mix this weekend and I know certain members of my family will be glued to the TV. Good luck girls.”

Steve Baker MP said: “All the best to Leigh-Anne and Little Mix in the final. It would be fantastic if they won and would be great for High Wycombe if one of its own daughters, so to speak, helped to raise the profile of the town.”

Wycombe District Council said: “Little Mix has done really well to get to the final and we're so proud that Leigh-Anne is flying the flag for Wycombe. We've got our fingers crossed for Little Mix this weekend and we would support the girls' record company or local commercial organisations who may want to organise a local celebration if Little Mix win the X Factor final.”

Sister Sarah Pinnock said: "Leigh-Anne, this time last year you was singing in the bathroom and I was screaming at you to be quiet, now your singing to millions and living your dream. I've never doubted you and I'm so proud of you for being brave enough to follow your dream. WIN OR LOSE, you've achieved something remarkable and I know you girls have a bright future. GO LITTLE MIX!"

Leigh-Anne’s best friend Hannah Bowles said: “I am so proud of how far she has come, it seems like only yesterday we go back off holiday in the summer and she found out she got the first audition. All the best of luck, I love you so much and I’m looking forward to spending time with you at Christmas.”

Dad John said: "Leigh-Anne, you're an inspiration to all the young people out there, with a talent to share with the world. I'm the proudest dad on the planet. All the best for the weekend. Lots of love."

I can remember how you were thinking about whether or not you should enter the X Factor again and now, here you are. Good luck for the final, you deserve to win it more than anyone – I love you millions and trillions.”
