A teenage boy has been left with injuries to his leg - possibly caused by a knife - following an attack in Penn on Halloween.
A fight took place between two groups of youths on October 31 between 8pm and 8.15pm at the playing fields near Ashley Drive.
A 16-year-old was assaulted during the fight and his leg was injured by a sharp object. He was taken to hospital, where he remains.
The boy was attacked by a group of four youths who all had their faces covered and were wearing dark clothes.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable David Mitchell, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “This incident has resulted in a boy sustaining an injury which has required hospital treatment.
“I would like to appeal for anyone who has any information relating to this incident to get in touch."
