Burglars broke into four homes in High Wycombe on Tuesday - stealing cash and jewellery.
Police are linking the burglaries, which all happened in the Daws Hill Lane and Cressex Road areas between 6.45pm and 9.30pm on April 17.
The burglars have broke into the homes by smashing the glass in doors or windows, stealing jewellery and foreign currency.
Investigating officer PC David Cannon, based at High Wycombe police station, said: "I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed these incidents or saw anything suspicious in the area on Tuesday evening to get in touch.
"If you have any information or dash cam footage that may help with this investigation then please do let me know."
Local neighbourhood sergeant Paul Reading said: "Residents in these areas can expect to see more of our officers and PCSOs in the area who will be offering crime prevention advice as well as monitoring any suspicious activity.
"We take burglaries, especially in the home, very seriously and are working hard to prevent similar offences taking place.
"With the warm weather expected over the weekend, I ask all our communities to remain vigilant while doors and windows are left open to keep cool.
"These can be used by opportunistic burglars to take anything that may be left on display near to these easy entry points."
