A MAN suffered head injuries after two-vehicle crash.
The incident happened at 2.30pm on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to Seaham following the crash between the Ford Transit and a Renault Scenic.
The road was closed by police while the vehicles were recovered.
A spokesman for North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) said: “We were called at 2.30pm to a road traffic collision on Hillcrest Mews in Cold Hesledon, Seaham.
“We dispatched a double crewed ambulance and transported a male patient to Sunderland Royal Hospital.”
