A seven-year-old boy who went missing in Inverness has been found safe and well.
Nathan Ross went missing from his home in the Dalneigh area of the city at around 8am on Saturday.
His disappearance prompted police to appeal for information on his whereabouts.
A Police Scotland spokesman later confirmed that the boy had been found and added: “Officers would like to thank the public for their help and support in tracing Nathan.”
