A cyclist has been seriously injured in a collision involving a car near a former hospital.
The incident happened at around 5.20pm on Wednesday on the access road to Bangour Hospital in West Lothian.
Police said the vehicle involved was a Mercedes C220 car and they have appealed for information about the incident.
Sergeant Brian Smith said: “We are continuing to investigate the full circumstances surrounding this collision and are keen to hear from members of the public with relevant information.
“Likewise if any motorists who were in the area at the time believe they may have dash-cam footage of the incident, then please also contact police immediately.”
Those with information can contact Police Scotland via 101 and quote incident number 2915 of February 27.
Some local roads were closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
