Battling for the attention of High Wycombe, supporters of both the ‘In’ and ‘Out’ EU campaigns turned out in force at the weekend.

The newly formed ‘Wycombe in Europe’ group met together for the first time near All Saints Church on Saturday, just feet away from their opponents campaigning for the UK to leave Europe.

The rival groups competed for the attention of members of the public throughout the day, handing out leaflets and answering questions from residents.

In the blue corner (In campaign) protesters were supported by former mayor of High Wycombe, Cllr Trevor Snaith, and Liberal Democrat agent Ian Morton.

And, fighting for the red corner, ‘Out’ campaigners have been strongly supported by Wycombe MP Steve Baker, who has been leading a Vote Leave campaign from within the Conservatives for months.
