This is what you have been writing to us about this week.
I echo the sentiments of Michael Curry in the last edition regarding the Hampton Hotel at Handy Cross (BFP letter, July 30).
It’s a featureless rectangle, so typical of lazy corporate design in recent years.
The worst thing is the gleaming white cladding which makes it very visible on the crest of the ridge from all over the area to the south of Handy Cross, particularly from Cliveden.
Wake up, Bucks planners. Demand higher design quality. Consider the impact of new buildings in the wider landscape.
Our beautiful county deserves better.
