There has been a lot of positive publicity and promotion for the proposed film studios in Marlow.
To try to create some balance, I would like to remind the residents of Marlow that this is to be built on 165 acres of greenbelt land.
In order to give some proportion to this, Globe Park only covers less than a third of this size.
This land is an existing nature reserve, and was meant to be in the future a country park for the residents of Marlow to enjoy.
Instead there is a very real danger we will have a massive development on it, with thousands more car journeys a week.
I would urge residents to speak up while they have a chance, simply Google Marlow greenbelt to see the extent of the proposal.
Claire Rackstraw, Marlow
