Rangers, who play in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division (the ninth division of English football), finished in the second and final automatic promotion place last season, but were denied a spot in the league above.

This was due to the club’s current facilities at their B.E.P Stadium in Horsenden, as they did not match the Football Association’s [FA] requirements of being an eighth-tier side.

They initially appealed the decision, but it was rejected by the FA.
