WYCOMBE cage fighter Matt Holland is gearing up for the biggest fight of his life this weekend.
Holland will contest the Mixed Martial Arts British title against Kes Mamba in front of nearly 1,000 fans at Handy Cross.
Holland is in good form. He beat Steve Jennings in the most spiteful bout of his career in September and ironed out the creases in a training fight just a few weeks ago.
He said: “I can’t wait, I’ve waited a long time for that belt.”
Holland’s bout is just one of 11 MMA fights on a full bill.
Also fighting is Wycombe’s Trevor ‘The Hammer’ Hopkins against Karl Knight, Mike Maroudas against Jonny Baynham, while Kul Degun takes on Lucas Klinger in a north versus south Bucks heavyweight clash.
There will also be two martial arts exhibitions during the evening.
