HIGH Wycombe CC U17s have ended the season on a high after wrapping up an impressive double last weekend.
Already crowned Premier League champions, they added the Mid Bucks U17s Cup to the trophy cabinet with a victory over Gerrards Cross.
High Wycombe batted first and scored 173 off their 20 overs with Cameron Parsons top scoring on 37 and Kunaal Kankate adding 30 not out.
Aashir Zaib smashed two sixes in his 19 to boost the total in the final overs.
Then it was up to the bowlers, and High Wycombe first teamers Saif Zaib and Uzair Amjaid cleaned up the top order before Hasan Arif and Michael Henderson rushed through the tail to secure a 70-run victory.
Meanwhile, the Bucks Association of Cricket Officials is hosting training courses for umpires and scorers in the New Year.
The umpires courses will be held at Great Brickhill and Penn & Tylers Green in mid-January while the scorers courses will take place at High Wycombe CC in March.
