Wanderers will be boosted by the return of four first team players ahead of Saturday’s meeting with in-form Southend at Adams Park.
On loan trio Alfie Mawson, Danny Rowe and Fred Onyedinma are all in contention to feature against the Shrimpers after their parent clubs denied them permission to play in Sunday’s FA Cup defeat to AFC Wimbledon.
Paris Cowan-Hall also returns after serving a one-match suspension, leaving Chairboys’ boss Gareth Ainsworth with options ahead of Saturday.
He said: “I’ve got a strong squad to pick from on Saturday. The boys who had no permission to play in the FA Cup will all be back involved and Paris has served his one game suspension so he’ll be back in the frame.
“There’s plenty of players coming back so we should have a healthy squad to pick from on Saturday.”
