Matt McClure bagged a brace on Saturday as Wycombe thrashed the ten men of Southend on Saturday but was he your Wanderers man of the match?

The striker turned home Sam Wood’s driven cross to give the home side a half-time lead before he rounded off the scoring with a superbly taken left-foot strike after 72 minutes.

Paris Cowan-Hall missed the FA Cup defeat against AFC Wimbledon through suspension but returned on Saturday to score his third goal in as many games. The winger equalised for the Blues just after the half hour mark cancelling out Jack Payne’s second minute opener for the visitors.

Joe Jacobson also got his name on the score sheet at the weekend, curling home a delicious free-kick to put the home side 3-1 up on 67 minutes. It was the left-back’s third goal of the season and marked another fine performance from the summer signing.

Another addition over the summer came in the form of Sido Jombati, who arrived from Cheltenham and has made the right-back berth his own with a number of solid displays. But did he do enough on Saturday to win your man of the match vote?
