Tyrrell Hatton has made the cut by a single shot at the Joburg Open in South Africa after carding a second round 70 on Friday.
The Marlow man carded three birdies and two bogeys in his second 18 holes around the Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club to finish on four-under for the tournament overall.
Wallie Coetsee currently tops the leader board on 12-under with England’s Simon Dyson just a shot behind in second.
If Hatton can play his way to a top ten finish over the final two rounds of the tournament he will qualify for the Open Championship which will be played at St Andrews on 16-19 July.
