Four members from Micklefield Judo Club picked up gold medals when the team competed in London on April 25.
The Metro Judo Club event, which was held at Thomas Tallis School, saw 11 players from Micklefield enter – ten of whom picked up medals.
Jess Chraniuk took gold in the red belt 8-15 years section while Leo Redfern fought his way to a bronze medal.
The team, under the guidance of senior club coach Sam Dobrowolski, enjoyed further success in the yellow/orange belt 8-11 years section as Luke Stallwood took gold, Emils Canko silver, bronzes for Jamie Drew and Sam Elliot and a fifth place finish for Tyrese Yearwood.
Four more medals followed for Joe Chraniuk and Chloe Dodge, who took gold, while Devon Chapman and Kim Day picked up gold and silver respectively.
