Micklefield Judo Club were successful at the Southend International Judo Championships last weekend as they took home seven medals.
The team competed over the course of two days and also earned a number of top five finishes to accompany their medal haul.
Bun Phalasan produced the standout performance of the weekend on Saturday 24, October as he took home a gold medal.
His effort was ably supported by Chloe Dodge, Joe Chraniuk and Alisa Sydykova who all won silver while Jamie Drew collected a bronze medal on the opening day.
Owen Burton and Tyrese Yearwood were also on fine form as they both finished fifth in their respective events.
On Sunday Jesse Chraniuk and Levi Peters completed the medal winners for Micklefield with a bronze medal each.
Meanwhile Sam Elliot and Dylan Saganowski both finished in fifth place on an excellent weekend for the High Wycombe club.
