Wycombe Wanderers’ footballers stepped-up their training regime ahead of the FA Cup clash against Aston Villa this weekend by visiting the newly opened Wycombe Leisure Centre.
The group of players, including goalkeeper Matt Ingram who studied at John Hampden Grammar School in Handy Cross, used the gym and swimming pool in preparation to face the Premier League team on Saturday.
The club, which has a partnership with the leisure centre, joined staff and members of the public at the gym, hours after the official opening on Tuesday.
Players and management are hopeful the town will get behind them when they host Aston Villa in the sold-out third round tie at Adams Park.
