It was the turn of Bucks’ women’s squash teams to collect their trophies after the Ladies’ Divisions came to a close this weekend.

Wycombe proved to be the dominant team in Division One as they ran out as Champions.

Their triumph made it a double success for the club and matched the achievements of their Seconds who won Division Two.

This was the first time for several years in which Wycombe have been able to field a side in Division One which made their success even more notable.

The club’s greater numbers are undoubtedly a direct result of the time put into improving the uptake in their youth membership.

The thriving numbers of junior players has had an instant impact on the senior teams as three of the squad members of a six strong team come from their ranks.
