Bledlow Ridge Tennis Club player Ben Stoolman took a step towards the final of the HSBC Road to Wimbledon Tournament on Sunday.
Stoolman came out on top of a fiercely contested competition to represent the club at the County Finals stage of the national tournament.
Some 10,000 players from across the country have entered the competition which culminates in the opportunity to play on the famous SW19 courts.
In fact, Stoolman, who competes at under-14 level, is now within touching distance of making it to Wimbledon and a strong showing at the County Finals will ensure his progress.
The winners the county stage make it through to the National Finals which take place from Monday, August 8 to Saturday, August 13.
In total 44 winners and four lucky runners up from the county stage of the tournament will make it to the Wimbledon showpiece where both boys and girls competitions will be held.
