Marlow escaped relegation from the Thames Valley Cricket League Division One by the skin of their teeth on Saturday as bad weather ended their match against Windsor.
In fairness to Marlow, they looked in good touch during their innings as they batted first and put on 267-5 from their 50 overs.
The early departure of Joe Brown (2) did little to stop them making a solid start to their innings as Imran Nawaz (50) and Barney Hogg (59) put on 91.
Their scores gave Marlow the foundation to kick on and further input from Graeme Paskins (38), Kevin Hudson (40 not out) and Simon Carter (48) took them to their total.
Windsor had limited success in the field but did have a surprise performer in the form of colt’s player Rohan Agrawal.
The youngster bowled two maidens in his seven over spell on his way to claiming 2-37, while Ben Durrant (2-52) and Tom Hartridge (1-56) also took wickets.
The weather turned during the changeover and rain meant Windsor didn’t get a chance to bat and the match was abandoned.
Poor weather ensured none of the games across the division could be completed and Marlow maintained their position in seventh, 11 points clear of relegation.
