Alfie Mawson has been a rock at the back for England as the Three Lions made their first European Under-21 semi-finals since 2009.
Last night, England eased past Poland 3-0 to book their place in the last four thanks to goals from Demarai Gray, Jacob Murphy and Lewis Baker.
As the tournament has progressed, England have got better with each game and after going behind to Slovakia earlier this week, Mawson's equaliser in that match proved a turning point in the tournament for Aidy Boothroyd's team.
The former Wycombe defender has been in great form since signing for Swansea last season and has been one of the stars as England could face bitter rivals Germany in the last four.
