A junior member at Burnham Beeches Golf Club has been wowing her elders at golf by equalling the score of the 12-time winner in the Ladies Club Championship.

Rosie Kim, 10, is a golf superstar in the making. She joined Burnham Beeches just over three years ago and has just got her handicap down to nine.

Last week she entered the Ladies Club Championship for the first time and had a fantastic day. The event is over 36 holes and Rosie equalled the scores of multiple winner Henrietta Watkins with scores of 80 + 78 (seven and five over par).

Rosie began playing at the age of five and received her first official handicap at the age of seven. She finished in the top five in her age group for the last three years at the US Kids European Championship and has had two holes-in-one so far during her burgeoning career.

She has also won numerous club and county championships as well as being a junior scholar at the prestigious Buckinghamshire Golf Club.
