Amersham Town supporters were treated to an incredible game as they drew 5-5 with Pitstone & Ivinghoe on Saturday.
Amersham took the lead after only six minutes when Leonardo Pedro broke down the left and lofted a perfect pass onto the head of the onrushing Jamie Aldred who had no difficulty beating Pitstone keeper Jamie Gibson.
Pitstone, however, equalised immediately when, from a free kick just outside the area, Kieran Doughty drove the ball past the wall and into the net. Town retook the lead on 24 minutes through Ray Koomson after a clever piece of footwork in the box.
Town then scored two further goals in quick succession thanks to Aldred who had a hat-trick.
Doughty converted a penalty to drag the visitors back in it before Callum Crossley and Doughty hauled Pitstone level.
Josh Webster incredibly gave the visitors the lead before Tom Parry smashed home a dramatic equaliser for the home side.
