Simply Waste Solutions, based in Flackwell Heath and one of the UK’s largest independently owned waste management companies are now the proud sponsors of Flackwell Heath Minors FC. who continue to grow from strength to strength.
They’ve sponsored all teams from the under 6s to under 16s who will continue to wear their traditional red and black shirts with the Simply Waste company logo.
To announce their sponsorship to the team, Simply Waste ran a competition open to all players to suggest a name for their new articulated lorry, the winner won corporate tickets to England Vs Germany at Wembley, as well as having their suggested name sign written on the artic trailer.
James Capel, CEO Simply Waste, chose ‘The Flackwell Flyer’ as the winning name, suggested by one of the under seven players, Caleb Walford.
Flackwell Heath Minors FC chairman Declan Breen said: “We’re delighted with the support from Simply Waste.
“We’re celebrating our 50th year as a club and this support will enable us to continue to provide a great footballing experience for all the boys and girls who are a part of our club.”
