HUGO Ellis is hoping to fill the void created by Wasps' back rows going to the World Cup.
Joe Worsley, Lawrence Dallaglio and Tom Rees will be away with England, while Dan Leo is in the Samoan squad.
Ellis said: "We have a lot of guys at the World Cup so it was a chance for our younger guys to show what they can do.
"Wasps have got some fantastic back rows, everyone's aware of that. A lot of them are away so hopefully I'm just looking to get my head down and work hard and make the most of any opportunities that might come my way."
