Blues midfielder Bryn Morris backed his team-mates to turn those draws into wins after an excellent display in their 2-2 draw at Portsmouth.

Morris opened the scoring with an exquisite finish but this ding-dong battle saw both sides share the spoils at Fratton Park.

Morris said: "The gaffer said he was pleased with us here and obviously we are too.

"We showed we will keep going until the end and obviously it has paid off for us."

The on-loan Shrewsbury man scored his second goal of the campaign with a wonderful finish and he explained how his strike came about.

He added: "It was quite instinctive. I got the ball of JJ [Joe Jacobson] then I played it into Bayo [Akinfenwa] and no-one is going to get the ball off him because he is so strong.

"I knew if I ran off and get away from my man, that I would get it back off Bayo and I took a touch.

"The ground was slippery and I looked to try and skip it off the surface and fortunately it went in the bottom corner.

"It was a really good point for us."
