Tyrrell Hatton finished tied second as his quest for a third Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in a row just failed.
Hatton finished one shot behind eventual winner, Lucas Bjerregaard, after a dramatic final day at St Andrews.
Hatton looked to be cruising to victory after four successive birdies on his front nine propelled him to four shots clear at one point.
However, his round came unstuck on the back nine and he finished one shot behind the Dane.
The 26-year-old said: "Well that back 9 super sucks!!!
"Tried my best but couldn’t seem to do much right! Congrats to @Smartie13 @LBjerregaard great round today in tough conditions, just as well you’re a strong lad....that trophy is heavy #DunhillLinks."
