The start of the Super Singles Darts League has commenced with week one being played at the Riverside Club.
Sarah Mallott made a great start to her season, winning 10-0 over the unlucky Darren Ward, another player in form was Leigh Birch with a 9-1 win against Keith Carter.
Two new players for the season both started well, Jason Cox got the better of Pat O’Reilly winning 6-4, which included two high outshots 140 and 108 by Cox, and Liam Maughan went one better winning 7-3 over Gary Petford that included two 180s for Maughan and one for Petford.
Mr Consistent Mark Luckett was also in good form winning 6-4 against Mark Hobbs.
Last year's winner Paul Tubb started his defence with an entertaining 7-3 win over new player Dave King, who hit a 180 and a 106 outshot.
John Beattie got his season running with a 8-2 win over Andy Long.
Week two in the Wycombe & Amersham Darts League saw Penn & Tylers Green SC travel to play the Judo Club and in an entertaining match it was the Penn side that sealed the victory, winning 10-4 with Darran Hoare hitting a 180 for the Penn side.
Phoenix Club continue to dominate Division One, their latest win a 13-1 result at Holmer Green Legion ‘A’, that saw Robin Jones hit a 120 outshot for the Holmer Green side.
