On-loan winger Randell Williams admitted he is loving life in south Bucks following his return to the club this summer from Watford.

Last season, Williams played a crucial role in helping the Chairboys get promotion to League One, including an important winner against Yeovil with minutes to spare last April.

This term, Williams has shown his class on numerous occasions, with a wonderful goal at Charlton and a superb assist last weekend for Adebayo Akinfenwa the highlights so far.

When it comes to Wanderers, the loanee explained how happy he is to be back and having a crack at League One.

He said: “I am so grateful to Gareth Ainsworth for giving me a chance here.

“He has been a huge part of my career and has taken a chance with me and that is all I can ask for as a young player.

“I am learning so much from a lot of the guys. It is so easy to play up top with Bayo and we have a good understanding and I am so happy I set up his 200th goal.

“The likes of Bloomfield, Mackail-Smith and Joe Jacobson continue to help me a lot and develop as much as I can and I am thankful for every minute.”

Following on from his man-of-the-match display last weekend, Williams is hopeful to continue that at the Ricoh Arena this Saturday.

He added: “I am looking forward to it. It should be a good game and it will be a tough test for us against a decent side.”
