Wycombe Wanderers have secured a further extension to Stephen Henderson’s loan with the club, lengthening the keeper’s stay at Adams Park for a further seven days in the continued absence of Ryan Allsop and Yves Ma-Kalambay due to injury.

Henderson arrived on loan from Nottingham Forest two weeks ago and has been between the sticks for the Chairboys' last two fixtures against Barnsley and Gillingham, prompting Blues boss Gareth Ainsworth to seek an extension to the emergency loan deal, which has been granted today.

Ainsworth said: “We're delighted to have Stephen with us for one more week.

"Ryan Allsop is now very, very close but to stick him in without a full week's training would be crazy.

"He is doing more or less everything but isn't match fit yet, so Stephen will stay with us for this weekend who is a fantastic keeper and I am really pleased with how he has performed."
