Tyrrell Hatton has a quiet start to the new golf season as he shot a level-par 72 in the opening round of the HSBC Abu Dhabi Golf Championship in the Emirates.
Hatton, 27, was playing alongside Brooks Koepka and Tommy Fleetwood in the arid heat of the desert and clawed back his round on the back nine.
The former Great Marlow School student had a fantastic 2018, making his Ryder Cup debut in Paris and making the cut in all four majors.
Hatton currently sits 10 shots behind leader, Shane Lowry, with three rounds left to play,
