Tyrrell Hatton will hope for a better time of things this week as he prepares to tee it up at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic at the Emirates Golf Club.
Hatton, 27, missed the cut in last week’s Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, despite an encouraging second round where he nearly clawed it back.
Last season, Hatton finished third in the Dubai Desert Classic, three shots behind eventual winner Haotong Li.
This year’s edition represents the 30th anniversary of the event, with the European Tour first coming to the Middle East in 1989.
Hatton faces a formidable field with Li, Sergio Garcia, Tommy Fleetwood, Ian Poulter and USA’s Bryson DeChambeau amongst his rivals at the prestigious tour event on the famed Emirates Golf Club layout.
