Holmer Green manager Chris Allen will tell his players before their final Hellenic Premier Division game of the season that he is standing down after ten seasons in charge.
Taking the helm immediately after the club were demoted to the SSMFL Division One
in 2009, due to ground grading shortcomings, he gained immediate promotion back to the Premier by winning the lower division and has ensured that the club retained its Step 5 status ever since.
In their first season in the UHL (which was forced on them by The FA),
they are currently ninth, and will finish approximately 20 points ahead of the relegation position(s).
The club has started the process of replacing Chris, but the development management team
and the Allied Counties U-18 Management will not be putting their names forward.
Chris will be elected as a Life Member of the club at the Summer AGM.
