At the end of the cross country season, Wycombe Phoenix and GB athlete Pippa Woolven has been ranked in second place overall in the annual cross-country merit rankings for the Senior Women.
Woolven was runner up behind her GB compatriot Charlotte Arter following her 35th place finish in the World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus, Denmark two weeks ago.
Woolven was one of the most consistent cross country athletes this season finishing ahead of Jess Piasecki, GB team captain, in two of the International competitions.
Woolven’s runner up spot in the British Championships earlier in the year and her ninth spot in the European Championships in Holland played a part in her final ranking position.
