Twenty years ago, this very day, Wycombe Wanderers pulled off one of the best results in their history with a 2-1 win over Manchester City at Maine Road.
The two clubs now have very differing fortunes, with Wycombe close to surviving in League One and Manchester City aiming for the domestic treble, including getting set to face Manchester United tonight.
On April 24, 1999, not many observed gave Wanderers a prayer but they stunned City by going 2-0 up.
Goals from Andy Baird and Sean Devine but the Blues two-up after half-an-hour but Shaun Goater pulled one back for City just before the break.
Wanderers then held on for a famous win to send their fans down the M6 in joyous mood.
