Wycombe forward Alex Samuel capped an impressive first season at Adams Park by being named the Young Player of the Year.
Samuel initially joined the club last summer after being released by Stevenage but became one of the first names on the teamsheet by Christmas with his all-action displays up top.
The Welsh striker was beaming as he lifted the award on Sunday evening and he was over the moon to win the gong.
He said: "It means everything to me and it tops off such a great season.
"It is such a privilege to be at this club. It is a fantastic club and it means everything.
"When I first joined it was just a case of getting fit and getting some game time and to get this award at the end of the season is something special.
"The goal at Accrington was my personal highlight. It came out of nowhere and that was a special night for us."
Samuel admitted he was looking forward to a break but also had an eye on next season already.
He added: "I will go on holiday for a little bit and I am already looking forward to next season which is testament to this club as well.
"A lot of places if you get to this stage you really need a break. My body needs it but my mind is already looking forward to next season."
