Tyrrell Hatton finished tied 33rd in the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village after another steady four rounds in Ohio.
Hatton, 27, finished 16 shots behind eventual winner, Patrick Cantlay, after a final round of two under par left him in the pack.
Former Great Marlow School student Hatton is now 40th in the world rankings and he took to Twitter to bemoan his putting, which also let him down at the US PGA Championship a few weeks ago.
Now 40th in the world, Hatton's next tournament will be the season's second Major, the US Open at Pebble Beach in California.
