RISBOROUGH Rangers have confirmed the appointment of Davis Haule as player-coach for the 2019-20 season.

Haule brings a wealth of experience to the club having enjoyed an illustrious playing career as a professional with Peterborough United, Birmingham City and Wimbledon.

He also featured in non-league football with the likes of Hendon, Wealdstone, Harrow Borough and Aylesbury, where he also took up the reigns as manager.

Haule also had spells playing abroad in America, Iceland and New Zealand.

manager Mark Eaton said: “We’re incredibly pleased to get Davis to the club as we saw in a short spell last season what a valuable contribution he will make. You can’t buy his kind of experience both on and off the field.

“He’s also a great person to be around and I feel he will be a real positive influence in helping us achieve our goals next season.”

On his appointment, Haule commented: “I’m extremely happy to be a part of a team with the goals and aspirations which are aligned with my character.

“Last year I had the pleasure of working alongside Mark and the team for a few weeks and I enjoyed every minute - a good bunch of lads.

“I’m looking forward to next season and the path we’re all now on.”
