Wycombe Wanderers Ladies will be playing Premier Division football next season after being granted promotion from the First Southern Division in the Southern Region Women's Football League.
The Chairgirls finished third in the league – falling just short of an automatic promotion place – but were able to apply for a position in the Premier League, which will not be receiving a relegated team from the National League, thereby creating a vacant spot.
Wanderers were successful in their application, meeting the required criteria for their home ground at the 3G pitch on Spring Lane in Flackwell Heath, and now look ahead to the new season at a higher level.
The club are also on the lookout for new players to strengthen the squad ahead of the new campaign, and welcome applications via email to emma_newberry@hotmail.co.uk. The first pre-season training session takes place on Sunday July 14 from 10am to 12pm, at the Wycombe Wanderers training ground in Booker.
