CHALFONT St Peter remain unbeaten in all competitions at Mill Meadow this season after a 2-2 draw against Bracknell Town in the Isthmian League South Central Division on Saturday, writes Rob Stevens.

The Saints took the lead inside the opening 60 seconds when Ash Abdullah swung the ball low into the box where Kofi Quartey applied the finishing touch.

Abdullah doubled the advantage as he chased down a through ball and placed a shot wide of keeper Mark Scott in the Bracknell goal after 18 minutes.

The visitors responded to reduce the deficit less than a minute later when Nathan Minhas scored from close range.

Poor marking from a corner allowed the towering Daniel Bayliss to head in an equalising goal in the 39th minute.

The draw means Chalfont remain in fourth position in the league table and five points behind unbeaten league leaders Westfield.

Chalfont St Peter turn their attention to the Velocity Trophy and a Group Five match at rivals Marlow on Tuesday (7.45pm).

Marlow are now on a three-match losing streak in the league after a 2-0 defeat at Westfield on Saturday.

Goals in the second half from Aaron Watson and Sonny Black secured all three points for the home side at Woking Park.

The defeat means the Blues have dropped one place to 12th position in the league table and now five points behind the play-off spots.
