MARLOW ended their four-match losing streak in all competitions after a 3-2 win against rivals Chalfont St Peter in the Velocity Trophy on Tuesday, writes Rob Stevens.

The Blues had not tasted victory since the end of August but returned to winning form in the Group Five match at Oak Tree Road.

Two goals from Kelvin Bossman, the first from the penalty spot, gave the home side a clear lead inside 11 minutes, but Sean Giordmaina pulled one back for Chalfont before the break.

The Saints levelled the scores through Giordmaina in the second half but then had Jack Corden dismissed having been shown two yellow cards inside a minute.

Marlow secured the win after an unfortunate own goal from Asa Rixon-Nicholls eight minutes from the final whistle.

Marlow return to action in the Isthmian League South Central with a visit to Oak Tree Road from Bedfont Sports on Saturday 5th October (3pm).

Chalfont St Peter turn their attention to the FA Trophy and an extra preliminary round tie at home to Whitstable Town from the Isthmian League South East Division this Saturday (3pm).

Flackwell Heath moved up to ninth position in the Hellenic League Premier Division following their 3-2 win against Windsor on Tuesday.

The Heathens took a clear lead at Wilks Park thanks to a penalty kick from Khalid Simmo plus a Simeon Weekes strike, but George Gould pulled one back for Windsor before the break.

The visitors pulled level when Dylan Ive netted on the hour mark, before Flackwell secured all three points with a goal from Ashley Howell with 16 minutes remaining.

Flackwell Heath turn their attention to the Hellenic League Challenge Cup and a trip to Abingdon United this Saturday (3pm).

Managerless Holmer Green return to action with a trip to Brackley Town Saints in the Premier Division tonight (Wednesday, 7.45pm).

The all-Bucks derby match in Division One East between Penn & Tylers Green and Risborough Rangers was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Holloways Park on Tuesday.
