THERE was some top quality tennis on show during the annual High Wycombe Lawn Tennis tournament with Philippa Worley and John Higgins winning the singles titles.

The ladies' doubles award went to Kate Todd and Tanya Petty with Josh Blattner and Dan Jago taking the men's equivalent. The mixed doubles was won my Bernard Pond and Maria Lawton. Pond also landed the plate singles crown.

The plate ladies' doubles champions are Nicki Formby and Ginny Eastwood, with Pat Budden and Nick Budden the men's plate doubles victors. The mixed award went to Lucy Duncan and Alan Gates.

Guy Britton is Head Coach at High Wycombe. He said: "The standard of tennis at the club just gets better each year. We had some really close matches this year and full credit to all the winners on fantastic performances."
