FLACKWELL Heath continue to make progress in the Hellenic League Challenge Cup this season after a 2-0 win at Abingdon United on Saturday, writes Rob Stevens.

Goals in the first half from Khedive McIntosh and Muhamadou Ceesay in the first half ensured victory for The Heathens at The Northcourt.

Their reward is a home draw in round four against Hellenic League Premier Division rivals Virginia Water.

Flackwell Heath turn their attention to the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup and a visit to Wilks Park from league rivals Shrivenham in the preliminary round on Tuesday 8th October (7.45pm).

Holmer Green did not have a fixture to fulfill last weekend but return to action in the Hellenic League Supplementary Cup and a home tie in the first round against Bucks rivals Penn & Tylers Green on Tuesday (7.45pm).

Risborough Rangers have progressed in the Challenge Cup after a 4-3 win on penalties at Wokingham & Emmbrook following a 1-1 draw in normal time on Saturday.

A goal from Josh Harris gave Wokingham & Emmbrook the lead heading into the break at the Emmbrook Sports Ground but Brian Haule equalised for the visitors 10 minutes before the final whistle.

The Rangers have been drawn at home to either Thame Rangers or Hazelmere Sports in round four.

Risborough Rangers return to action in Hellenic Division One East with a trip to Woodley United this Saturday (3pm).

Marlow United remain in second position in the league table following their 5-0 win against bottom side Abingdon Town on Saturday.

A Chris Hirst brace plus a goal from Alfie Lucas gave Marlow a clear lead heading into the break at the Alfred Davis Memorial Ground. Hirst scored again in the second half to complete his hat-trick, with a further strike from Jean-Claude Etienne.

Marlow United make the trip Langley on Tuesday (7.45pm).

Penn & Tylers Green moved up to third position in the table after a 5-0 win at Chalvey Sports on Saturday.

A goal from Dean Allen gave the visitors to Arbour Park a lead inside three minutes, before furthers strikes in the second half from Allen, Fred Tripp, Rashid Hamed and Tom Fifield.

Chalfont St Peter are out of the FA Trophy this season after a 1-0 defeat against Whitstable Town in the extra preliminary round tie on Saturday.

A goal from John Ufuah seven minutes into the second half at Mill Meadow ensured progress for the visitors from the Isthmian League South East Division.

Chalfont turn their attention back to the Isthmian league South Central Division and a trip to unbeaten Hanwell Town this Saturday (3pm).

Marlow did not have a fixture to fulfill last weekend but return to action when Bedfont Sports visit Oak Tree Road this Saturday (3pm).
