THE Wycombe Gymnastics Academy are revelling in success at the British Gymnastics Southern Region Championships held in Portsmouth.

The academy had gymnasts competing in levels two, three, four and five and took home 25 medals across the board.

Their best results came in level two with Lowri taking the regional title with a score of 48.050, winning the beam alongside her teammate Isabel.

Isabel took the bronze medal overall in level two and won the regional bar title for the second year in a row.

Marci came fourth in Level two meaning that Wycombe had three gymnast in the top six - the club’s greatest-ever result in a regional event.

In the level three competition, Maddison took the silver medal with a score of 45.750 and won the beam title.

Her teammate Jenna taking fifth overall and also the bronze on vault.

The head coach felt incredibly proud of all the girls, not just of their results, but their dedication day-in-day-out during training.

The academy is now looking forward to the next two big competitions coming up, the Quatro Cup this weekend and the English Championships on November 17th.
