Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth is expecting a very tough test for his side on Saturday as they travel to the New York Stadium to face Rotherham (3pm).

Rotherham were relegated last season from the Championship and they are tipped to bounce back to England's second tier straight away.

They enhanced their prospects with an excellent 2-0 win over Ipswich earlier this week and Ainsworth admitted that this clash would be one of the hardest they would face all season.

He said: "Without a doubt, it will be one of our toughest games of the season.

"They had a great result against Ipswich on Wednesday night and everyone will say, they have had one less day's rest, but believe me that won't come into play too much and they are a very strong side.

"They are very good on transition and they are a very powerful side with Championship players in their squad.

"They were in the Championship last year and it will be a tough, tough game.

"I am sure the weather is going to cause chaos up there with the rain that is forecast and it could be one for me to select on what I think is going to handle the conditions.

"The New York Stadium is a very tough place to go and hopefully we can get something.

"It is a tough place to go after the week we have had but I have a tough group and I am sure they will be ready."
