Wycombe made it six league clean sheets in a row after a comfortable victory over Burton Albion.
The Chairboys, who were playing their first match at Adams Park in 21 days, initially lacked the attacking intensity they had shown prior to their three-week break, as the league leaders struggled to string passes together, pick each other out and were carelessly putting the ball out of play.
And with the way the first-half was going, you wouldn’t think that Wycombe were top of the division, as the league leaders didn’t test Kieran O’Hara in the Albion goal.

Anthony Stewart had the game’s first real chance of the match when he headed over from a Joe Jacobson corner in the 10th minute.
But after a lacklustre display, Wycombe showed why they are top of the league as they took the lead midway through the first-half.
Another corner was swung in by Jacobson and after it eluded everyone in the box, Stewart picked up the loose ball, fired in a low cross and there was David Wheeler to smash it in from six-yards to give Wycombe the lead.
It was his second goal of the campaign.
Burton rarely threatened with Allsop not having to make a single save of great note during the match, with former Hull and Reading man Stephen Quinn having the visitor's best chance of the contest, but his effort from 18-yards just went wide.

Wycombe were left frustrated during latter parts of the second-half as Burton defended well in the final third, with the home side trying their best to catch the visitors out with long balls and counter attacks.
But Burton finally caved in the 90th minute when Wycombe got their second.
David Wheeler, who was named man of the match moments before the goal was scored, saw his low drive get saved by O’Hara, but there was Matt Bloomfield to smash in his first goal of the season from the rebound to seal all three points for Wycombe.
The result means Wycombe will be top of League One on Christmas Day.
They next face Oxford United on December 21 at the Kassam Stadium.
