SLOUGH have maintained their perfect winning record against rival clubs in the league this season after a 26-0 victory at Hungerford on Saturday.

The Greenies have done the double over Drifters and now Hungerford plus can boast a win against Tadley with a trip to the West Berkshire club still to come in March.

In fact, all their success in the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier in this campaign has come against rival clubs. Slough have suffered defeat in their seven non-derby matches.

The game at Hungerford started at a frantic pace and The Greenies broke the deadlock inside the first 13 minutes at Priory Road. A fantastic take from a chip over the defence by Matteo Pascucci took the visitors behind enemy lines and a try was inevitable. Some slick interplay between the forwards and backs put Sam Rowe over in the corner before Max Miles booted the conversion.

The second try arrived on 27 minutes and was almost a carbon copy of the first with Matty Collins going over in the same corner and Miles adding the extras for a 14-0 lead at the break.

Slough scored again five minutes into the second half as Ben Foster supplied his third assist of the game to put Miles over in the corner, but this time he was off target with the conversion attempt.

The Greenies managed to bag a fourth try for the bonus point with less then 20 minutes still to play. Rhys Amos picked the ball from the base of a scrum and fed Foster who ran in a try from 20-metres out. Charlie Turner booted the conversion.

The win means Slough stand in sixth position in the league table ahead of a trip to bottom side Oxford this Saturday (2.30pm). It will be the first meeting between the two teams this season.
