Blackpool’s manager has praised the South Central Ambulance Service after they were called out to Adams Park yesterday evening.
Simon Grayson, who saw his side fall to a 2-1 defeat against Wycombe, was talking after a Wycombe fan suffered a heart attack at the stadium.

Sadly, the fan, 62-year-old Mark Bird, passed away later on that evening (January 28).
Grayson said: “What I will say is, it was a fantastic effort from the paramedics around here to do what they have done.
“It puts it into perspective and the decision that we threw open to Wycombe was if they wanted to call the game off or not, but, they decided to go ahead with the game which we respected.”
