To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the British Red Cross, Beaconsfield Golf Club recently held three competitions to celebrate the work that the charity provides.
The event was held at the start of August which saw Emily Gilmour, 13, and, 22, winning their respective trophies.

The winner of the third competition, Mark Drummond, was unable to attend the photography and prize-giving session.
All three players have started their golf in the Junior section of Beaconsfield Golf Club.
Emily, who comes from a golfing family as her father Stewart, and her grandparents, Sue and Steve, are members at the club, with the latter being the captain of the club.
Her prize was a coin from the Royal Mint celebrating the 150th anniversary of the British Red Cross.

Callum is also from a golfing family, his father and brother are also members at Beaconsfield.
The 22-year-old joined the club 10 years ago and on the day of the competition, Callum beat 124 players bringing his handicap down from 20 to 18, where he won a bottle of champagne.
He is currently studying Sports Psychology at the University of Bournemouth.

Finally, Mark Drummond, who has a handicap of two, is from yet another golfing family, with his sister Rachel, being a professional player.
Donations that have come through from Beaconsfield Golf Club to the British Red Cross for the event have totalled up to £2,301.
In a brief statement, the British Red Cross said: “The British Red Cross would like to add a special thank you to Harewood Downs Golf Club, whose captains, Lina Mckenna and Andy Gamble have donated £150 from their gala day held at the club, and to those clubs who have donated prizes for auction, Oakland Park, Woburn, Stoke Park.”
